DESCRIPTION:Please join fellow members of The Harriton Association on Sunday\, April 26\, 2026 at 3:00 pm for the Association’s for a brief business meeting followed by our special guest speaker is Sheilah Vance\, Esq. Ms. Vance will discuss her book Threshold to Valley Forge: The Six Days of the Gulph Mills Encampment which reveals the fascinating details of Washington’s and the Continental Army’s last stand before and as they moved into winter quarters at Valley Forge. Copies of Threshold to Valley Forge will be available for purchase and signing by Ms. Vance. Copies of the new young readers book Charles Thomson and the Declaration of Independence by Philip Johnston will also be available for sale. This charming book was written to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s Independence. \nThe program wraps up with refreshments and an opportunity to socialize with your fellow Association members. \nCapacity is limited so we highly recommend reservations to secure your seat/s. \nThe is no fee to attend the meeting. \nFor questions please email to: info@harritonhouse.org or call 610-525-0201.\nThe Vaux Family Education Center is accessible and there are designated handicapped spaces available near the building.
